How are searches counted towards the monthly limit?
A search is considered spent only if it’s successful. Cached or failed searches
don’t count.
There sure is! When you make your SearchData account, you get 500 free searches to
try out the API, no credit card required.
Can I request data extraction functionalities for a different search engine?
Sure! We’re always working on the API and if you need help with a specific engine,
contact us and we’ll see how we can help you.
Do you offer technical support?
Yes, we want to help all SearchData users with their setup or any other problems
they may encounter. Contact us at support@searchdata.io and we’ll get right to you.
Can I get more than 30,000 searches per month?
Of course, contact the sales team and we can create a custom plan that fits your
needs.
What exactly is a search?
An API call to the SearchData API is called a search and it returns you SERPS data
for the searched keyword.
What happens if I run out of credits before the end of my current subscription?
You can still execute searches for an extra fee for each API call over the limit.
The exact price is determined by your chosen pricing plan.
Can I change or cancel my plan at any time?
Yes, you can switch to a different plan or cancel the subscription and you’ll
still get the same access until the next payment was scheduled.
Can I choose to pay yearly?
Yes, you can opt for the annual plan which means you’ll save 10% on costs
How many searches can I make with SearchData?
The API can handle millions of daily API calls. For a higher concurrency rate than
what’s offered in the standard plans, please contact us and we’ll set up a custom plan for you.
For how long can I access the JSON and raw HTML files for searches?
We store all JSON and raw HTML files for your searches for 30 days after the
searches are made. You can find said files in the dashboard.
Why do the search results I get with SearchData look different than what I find
when I manually use the browser?
The results a browser offers greatly depend on certain parameters, such as
location, language, previous searches, if you are logged into a Google account and so on. These
parameters change the results even if the search term is identical. To get similar results to the
API, manually do the search in incognito mode.
